Itineri travels to Paris for the Rugby World Cup

Friday 19th October 2007

An inspired idea came from Andy Penn (Managing Director) and Rose Seale (Designer) after the victorious and one could say unexpected win of England over France in the semi finals & a trip to Paris was in order for the following weekend.

However it did not end there. Andy Penn, after recently purchasing and restoring a 1966 Routemaster bus, decided this would be the perfect patriotic mode of transport to get the group to Paris.

The long journey began early on a frosty friday morning but spirts were not dampened by the time or the weather. Entertainment was in full force, supplied not only by the Itineri Team but also the daring clients who had decided to jump on board.

On approaching Dover hours and hours later, all passengers were growing increasingly surprised at the amount of attention that this 40 year old, 40 mph (not being able to exceed this speed) bus was getting. But imagine the shock and delight on arriving at Dover we were greeted by a whirl of press all eager to take our photos before we boarded the ferry.

This party spirt was maintained throughout the weekend and even the loss of the world rugby title did little to distract from it. All involved had a fantastic weekend and a memory that will last forever.
